Portfolio of Works

When it comes to my fine art background, I’m a bit of a hybrid. My fine art DNA is not pure. Throughout the years, my classes and workshops were under some instructors who were classically trained, others who were impressionists, and still others who were illustrators. This might explain how my work fluctuates into different approaches, and I find myself happier by allowing that to happen intuitively. While I’m never a pure realist, I often apply a stylized realism to many of my portrait/figurative works, but I tend to apply more of an illustrative style in my still life or wildlife works. And in all of them, I use my background in illustration to design an imaginative story. It all boils down to who I am as a creator of fine art and will hopefully explain the variety in my work as you browse through my collection.
